BCB

The Borreliose Centrum Blankenburg (BCB) was initiated in 2008 to offer a second medical centre for the treatment of tick-borne diseases in the Harz region in the North of Germany, besides the Borreliose Centrum Augsburg (BCA) in the South.  The BCB diagnoses and treats according to standards and requirements of the BCA.

From the beginning of September 2009 we are offering our broad service range.  The primary service is the treatment of chronically ill Lyme disease patients according to the ILADS guidelines (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society, USA, www.ilads.org) and the recommendations of the German Borreliosis Society (www.borreliose-gesellschaft.de)

 Both Borreliose Centres North (BCB) and South (BCA) cooperate with other physicians around the world (Germany/Europe/International).  More information about the structure of the BCB can be found here.

What makes the Borreliose Centrum Augsburg so unique?

The patient is offered a sophisticated and proven concept for diagnosis and therapy:

             Diagnosis, laboratory, therapy and rehabilitation under one roof.

The treatment is either outpatient (individual treatments) or in forms of the "day medical clinic" (daily or weekly program).

Experienced team of physicians specialised in tick-borne diseases, including Lyme disease and co-infections, in the cooperating medical partnership (therapists and physician for laboratory medicine):  Comprehensive anamneses, differential diagnoses with other disease patterns and treatment of co-infections, intensive antibiosis, pain therapy.
2. Special tests for blood analysis to diagnose Lyme disease and co-infections (Link) including a close cooperation between attending doctors and laboratory medicine physicians.
3.
